Parking at publicly accessible charging stations is a thing of the past
We truly believe that all users of charging stations respect the purpose of the charging area, but we also know that sometimes there are individuals who forget the function of the charging station. The new changes are there to remind them and to enable other users to use them without any problems.
The road safety law was recently voted in the Croatian Parliament, and the new changes will come into effect on July 30. New vehicles such as electric scooters and motorcycles are defined and regulated in the new law, and provisions have been added that will make it easier for drivers of electric vehicles to use them on a daily basis.
The newroad safety law prohibits parking at publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles.
Thus, every vehicle parked at the charing station, which is not chargingt the same time, will be moved by the parking service and will receive a fine for illegal parking in the amount of HRK 300. Also, the service of moving vehicles in many cities costs over HRK 500, so parking at charing stations is by no means profitable.
